How Cemetery Pre-Planning Works

By thinking ahead, you’ll make informed, thoughtful decisions about your burial arrangements. You’ll choose the specific items you want and need.

Imagine the peace-of-mind you’ll have…knowing it's all taken care of.

How Cemetery Pre-Planning Work

Pre-Planning:

  • is THE ANSWER to LOWERING THE COST of burial expenses.
  • helps lessen the IMPACT OF BEREAVEMENT on the living. That’s why it’s such a wonderful gift of thoughtfulness.

1, 2, 3... pre-planning is really just a straightforward, three-step process:

Consider which burial option is right…for you.

Don't worry, aftercareplanning.com is here to help you.

You can go to our Burial Options link for helpful information to start your thinking (it just might propel you into an introspective, philosophical journey!)

Don't worry. If you need help sorting things out, you can also speak to a caring, knowledgeable representative at one of our aftercareplanning.com affiliate neighborhood cemetery locations. Go to our Find a Cemetery listing. Our representatives will help you determine the burial option that’s right…for you.

Whether ground burial, mausoleum crypt, or cremation niche, a simple way to "get started" is by purchasing just your memorial space − whether the space is in the ground, a mausoleum, or a columbarium.

Think you might be ready to buy your space? You’ve got options:

a) Online

Once you've purchased your memorial burial space, later you can purchase all remaining burial items necessary to "complete" your plan. Purchase the items one at a time, or all at the same time – it’s your choice.
